We are pleased to offer a range of 1-to-1 instrumental music lessons in school. Each term will consist of 10 individual lessons of 15 or 30 minutes duration which take place during the normal school day.
Lessons cost £91.50 for 10 x 15 minute lessons per term or £183.00 for 10 x 30 minute lessons per term.
If you are eligible, Essex Music Service (EMS) provide Tuition Discount of 66% to support students from low-income families and/or disadvantaged backgrounds. Click here to visit their website for more information.
Instrumental lessons are scheduled during the school day on a rotating timetable. This is to minimise ongoing disruption to students normal weekly timetabled lessons. The following instruments are currently available whilst other instruments can be made available if provided by Essex Music Service.

All students taking music lessons at school will be strongly encouraged to take part in school ensembles to accelerate their progress. Ensembles currently run after school and some lunchtimes, these include –
Jazz Club: lunchtime

Pop Choir: 3.00pm-4.00pm
Music Tech Club: lunchtime
Year 11 Revision: 3:00pm – 4:00pm
Advanced Vocals: lunchtime & 3pm
Ukulele Club: lunchtime
Mixed Band: 3:00pm – 3:45pm
