On Friday 19th December, we will be celebrating the end of term with a Christmas Jumper Day, Christmas themed non-uniform is encouraged. Normal lessons will still take place on this day alongside other arrangements so it is important that students adhere to our usual non-uniform rules. Donations can be made on ParentPay, charity to be confirmed.
Last Day Finish Times
Following normal lessons periods one and two, there will be a slightly longer extended food service at breaktime. Students will have an end of term celebration with their year group and will then leave at the following times –
Years 7 and 8 – 12.15pm
Years 9, 10 and 11 – 12.20pm
Non Uniform Guidance
Non-uniform clothes needs to be appropriate to the learning atmosphere.
- Shorts, skirts and dresses, if worn, must fit closer to the knee than the hip. No items should be see-through
- Leggings, if worn, must not become see-through when stretched and should be worn with a top of at least mid-thigh length
- Any items of clothing must be respectful – no slogans or messages that conflict with our school vision of belonging
- Expectations regarding jewellery, piercings and makeup remain the same as a normal school day
- All usual lesson equipment and/or kit and lanyard must still be brought to school. If you don’t have your lanyard you will have to wait to get your break. We only have breaktime on Friday 19th and a fast turnaround on food service, it is essential if they wish to purchase food that they remember their lanyard and cashless card.
Students return to school on Tuesday 6th January.
