A Level Results 2025

Sigma Sixth Form Entrance

Congratulations to all of our students who collected their A level and Level 3 BTEC this year.

Congratulations to James who has been with us since the start of year 7.  His commitment to the school and college has been significant.  He can always be found assisting with every event, mentoring younger students and has become an advocate for “Shout” supporting the mental health of young people.  He has achieved a grade higher than predicted from his GCSE results with A levels of 2 grade Bs in Law and Sociology and a grade C in criminology.  He is now starting a degree apprenticeship with Essex Police.  Congratulations James!

Congratulations to Charlie who has achieved a triple distinction star in BTEC Level 3 National in Sports Coaching and Development along with achieving a grade B in Business A level.  He is starting an apprenticeship in Risk Management and Brokering whilst continuing to play rugby in the London Broncos programme.

Inseparable in Sigma Sixth, Isabelle, Annabel and Kenzie are all heading off to the University of Essex to study Psychology, Sociology and Biomedical Science respectively.  Here they are being interviewed by the Colchester Gazette this morning.  We are delighted to have had Annabel and Kenzie move from their education at Philip Morant to Sigma Sixth and be with us for all of this time.  Congratulations to you all.

Arthur joined Sigma Sixth from Maltings Academy and joined our Basketball Academy.  He has made great progress to achieve three grade Bs at A level (Economics, Physical Education and Psychology) and will continue his studies at Birmingham City University, studying Economics.  Congratulations Arthur!

Theo joined our Sports Academy from Manningtree High School.  He has been a part of our football academy.  He has achieved a triple distinction star in BTEC Level 3 National in Sports Coaching and Development and is off to study Physiotherapy at The University of East Anglia.  Congratulations Theo!

Congratulations to Ghezaal who wasn’t able to join us at results day. Ghezaal first joined us in year 10 when her family had to flee Afghanistan.  She stayed with us for Sigma Sixth and has achieved the highest point score in Sigma Sixth in her A levels in Business Studies, Economics, Sociology and Persian.

She is now heading off to the SP Jain London School of Management to study Business Administration on a 100% scholarship. We are so proud of all of her achievements.
