Congratulations to two of our Year 8 students, Oscar & Arthur. They have submitted the School’s first ever entry into the Moon Camp Challenge, a worldwide competition run by the European Space Agency alongside the Airbus Foundation, in partnership with Autodesk. To enter the students had to design a habitat for human space exploration.
Their project description is “a place for scientists to safely live and work whilst exploring the moon and researching its surface and possible underground minerals”. They will receive a certificate for participating and an invitation to an online event in May involving an ESA astronaut and space experts. Their entry can be viewed online here at the Moon Camp Challenge website.
