Revision is an important part of good student study habits. However, we are very aware that many students can struggle to know what to revise and how to revise. As part of our Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 development we work with a company named Elevate to deliver sessions on study skills to help students develop their independent learning skills. Elevate also delivers parent webinars so that you can support your child at home. The details of this can be found at this link; Elevate Parent Programme

We have also put together some tips for revision which are based on educational research. Please see the slides here for more information which also include our regularly used revision websites.

Alongside this we offer an ever changing after school revision programme for year 11 students. This is updated regularly so please do keep checking for updates over the course of the year. The revision timetable for 2023/24 is currently being developed and will be available soon.

Many students like to revise at home and this is encouraged as further education will benefit from independent study. If you would like to purchase any revision guides, the details of exam boards and suggested materials can be found at this link (please note that these are up to date for our current year 11 students, please double check with teachers if you are in year 10). If you have any queries regarding revision here at Philip Morant School please get in touch via
