Meteorites and Dinosaur Bones

On Thursday 27th February, students from Years 7-13 had the rare opportunity to look at and study dinosaur bones from 4.5 million years ago and meteorites originating from beyond our solar system. Students were able to handle samples of meteorites from the moon’s surface an from Mars. Thank you to Science and Technology Facilities Council/UKRI and NASA for the moon rocks.
