On Wednesday 6th December as part of our STEM Academy programme, students visited Anglia Ruskin University Chelmsford, to listen to former British Cycling Head of Technology. Students learned about the stages of innovation, key team components and aspects of the design and aerodynamics to develop the bike used at the Tokyo Olympics. Students posed questions, took a close up view of the bike and felt the weight and design that gave Jason Kenny that little extra to bring home his gold medals.
Thank you to Chelmsford Science and Engineering Society for inviting us to the event.
