On Friday 23rd June the whole school were involved in trips or activities that had been organised in school. These included visits to the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, O2 Sky Walk, National Maritime Museum, the Big Bang at the NEC, Colchester Zoo, Jump Street, Bowling as well as an inflatables obstacle course, scavenger hunt and movie showing back at school.
Nearly one hundred students travelled to the centre of London to the Science Museum as part of our trips and activities day. Students represented the school impeccably as they explored outer-space and space travel; medicine from ancient history to the modern day ; the evolution of mathematics throughout time; the development of travel including the railways and aeroplanes, not to mention the museum’s fascinating ‘Who Am I?’ exhibition.
